A charming copper tsuba with a shakudo fukurin. The floral caving is in the katakiribori style and must have been inspired by works of the Yokoya Somin school. This is a style of carving that emulated the thick and thin brush strokes of Momoyama period ink paintings. A late Edo work, circa 1800. Nice patina and a pleasing design.
