Kinko Sukashi Tsuba

A lovely shakudo sukashi kinko tsuba. This guard has a detailed composition with fine sukashi and ke-bori work. The theme is that of geese and ginger. The shakudo has a deep black patina and is in excellent condition. The personality of the work is quite refined and elegant overall. This dates to the late Edo period. Accompanied by a custom fitted kiri-bako.
