Ko Kinko Tsuba

Dimensions: 6.2 cm x 5.4 cm x 4.5 mm

This is a ko-kinko tsubaa. It dates to around the late Muromachi period, circa 1550. The shakudo has a rich luster and there are amida yasuri on both sides. The theme is the Kiku mon (chrysanthemum crest). This tsuba has been mounted many times in its lifetime. This is an inexpensive item due to its size, but has much to offer in study value and charm.
