Umetada Munetake was know as Hikojiro. He was born in 1634. A tsuba exists by him stating his age of 70 years in February of 1703. Dated works also exist from 1706 and 1710. According to Wakayama, Munetake was related to Myoju. Also, Wakayama rates Munetake as Ryoko (the 4th level). This tsuba has a takabori shibuichi inlay of a tiger fish on the omote and iron takabori on the ura. Iron migaki ji with sukinokoshi mimi. The face of the dragonfish has a wonderful charm.
