A fine set of Ko Mino Menuki in solid gold. The grandeur of Momoyama times can be felt in this perfectly preserved set. One can observe the classic high-walled style carving that Ko-Mino works are renowned for. Also, the carving feels "sharp" in one's hands, an interesting characteristic of Ko-Mino kinko. The execution of the floral motif with compact design and abundant sukashi elements round-out the hallmarks of the school. This set comes with a NBTHK Hozon Paper and a custom fitted kiri-bako. A top-shelf example and a delight to study and appreciate.
